Do you store my financial data?
No. Your bank statements are processed in memory and deleted immediately after analysis. We never store your transactions or financial data on our servers. See our privacy policy for more details.
What data do you store?
We store your email, the country you signed up for, your number of scans (to prevent abuse), and whether you're a premium user. We also anonymously track subscriptions found for social proof statistics. See our privacy policy for full details.
Who can see my financial data?
Your files are sent directly to our system's provider for analysis – we do not see or store your transactions and sensitive data. Results only exist in your browser.
Do you use cookies?
Yes, we use cookies for essential functionality. See our cookies page for more information.
What is the price?
A one-time payment of $3.99. No subscription for our subscription-finder service – that would be ironic. For more information about what's included, visit our pricing page.
What if you don't find more subscriptions than the price?
99.9% of subscriptions cost more than our service. If we don't find anything, don't pay for the full report. If you paid before the analysis or after seeing potential savings and still aren't satisfied, feel free to email us at contact@substop.ai and we'll find a solution.
Do you offer refunds?
If we didn't find more subscriptions than the price you paid, we'll refund you. If you experienced a technical issue, contact us and we'll refund you. We do not refund if we found subscriptions worth more than what you paid and the service worked as intended. See our terms for full refund policy.
Do you cancel subscriptions for me?
No – we provide you with links to each service where you can manage or cancel your subscriptions. You keep full control. For a full list of what's included, visit our pricing page.
How much transaction history do I need?
2-3 months of transaction history is recommended, otherwise it's difficult for the system to determine if a payment is recurring. We've tested and found that more than 3 months does not improve results.
Which banks do you support?
Essentially all banks in our supported countries. See our terms for the list of supported countries.
Which file formats do you support?
CSV files work best. We also support text-based PDFs and scanned PDFs (both single-page and multi-page).
Is there an app?
No. Substop is only available as this web application. Anyone claiming to offer a Substop app is not affiliated with us.
Can I use it on my phone?
Technically yes, but the application is designed for desktop browsers. The site may not behave as intended on mobile devices.
Do you connect to my bank?
No, we don't (and we can't). Simply upload 2-3 months of transaction history in PDF or CSV format.
Can you see my bank statement data (account number, name, bank, etc.)?
No. We never see it. The data is sent directly to our systems provider, analyzed in memory, and deleted immediately after. Neither we nor our systems provider store or have any use for this data.
How do I get my transaction statements?
Your bank sends them to you monthly or quarterly, or you can log into your web bank and download them. All banks provide you with options to download monthly or quarterly statements in PDF or CSV format.
