Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 2026

We keep things simple. Substop uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and make the service work, plus basic analytics to improve your experience. Here's the full picture.

1. What We Actually Use

We use authentication cookies from Supabase (our login provider) to keep you signed in. That's it. These cookies remember who you are so you don't have to log in every time you visit. They're set when you log in and cleared when you log out.

2. Browser Storage

We also use your browser's local storage to temporarily hold your scan results. This is what lets you scan as a guest, then log in and pay, and still see your results. This data stays in your browser only – we never see it on our servers. It's automatically cleared after you view your full results.

3. Analytics

We use basic analytics to understand how visitors find Substop and to improve the service. This helps us see things like which pages are popular and where our traffic comes from.

4. Marketing

We use Meta Pixel (Facebook) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This pixel sets third-party cookies and tracks page views and purchases so we can understand whether our ads are working. This data is shared with Meta and used to optimize ad delivery. You can opt out of Meta's tracking in your Facebook settings under ad preferences.

5. Third Parties

The third parties involved are Supabase (authentication), Stripe (payments), Google (analytics and our system's infrastructure provider), and Meta (advertising measurement via Facebook Pixel). All are reputable services with their own privacy policies. We don't sell your data to anyone.

6. Your Control

You can clear cookies anytime through your browser settings. Just know that if you block or delete our authentication cookies, you'll need to log in again next time. That's the only downside.
